Omar Souleyman

Omar Souleyman is an internationally acclaimed Syrian singer who began his career performing at weddings, releasing hundreds of live cassette recordings before gaining international attention. His breakthrough studio album, Wenu Wenu (2013), was produced by Four Tet, and he has since released critically acclaimed records including Bahdeni Nami, To Syria, With Love, Shlon, and Erbil. He has collaborated with major artists such as Björk, Four Tet, and Gorillaz.
